Progetto Erasmus plus “The City rings”
Gli alunni delle classi 3H e 3I del liceo linguistico del nostro Istituto hanno partecipato al progetto Erasmus plus “The City rings”, al quale collaborano le scuole di altri cinque paesi europei: Belgio, Finlandia, Francia, Norvegia e Turchia.
Il progetto, coordinato dai proff. Anna Rita Margio e Paolo Mauriello, mira a migliorare le competenze linguistiche e digitali degli studenti e, allo stesso tempo, a sviluppare ulteriormente le loro abilità trasversali, ad esempio il “problem-based learning” e il “cooperative learning”; inoltre, contribuisce a far acquisire ai giovani una maggiore consapevolezza della loro cittadinanza europea, grazie alla collaborazione con gli studenti delle altre scuole partner. Le alunne coinvolte hanno fatto ricerche e realizzato “sound files” e presentazioni Power Point riguardanti la tematica dei suoni e del “soundscape” relativo al proprio “vissuto”, alla loro scuola ed alla località in cui ha sede la scuola.
Accompagnate dai proff. Paolo Mauriello e Pasquale Palluotto, le alunne Antonella Cieri, Maria Ferraro, Immacolata Magnotta, Maria Pia Maiello e Stella Grazia Mazzuoccolo hanno partecipato all’incontro tra tutte le scuole partner previsto per il mese di febbraio a Vaasa (Finlandia), dove hanno potuto confrontarsi con i loro coetanei europei, utilizzando la lingua inglese e facendo un’esperienza diretta delle abitudini e del modo di vivere di un’altra nazione europea, avendo la possibilità di essere ospitate dalle famiglie degli studenti finlandesi.
Il progetto, di durata biennale, proseguirà nel prossimo anno scolastico (2016-2017) con ulteriori attività.
The students of two classes (3H and 3I of “liceo linguistico”) of our school participated in the Erasmus plus project titled “The City rings”, which involves the schools of five other European countries: Belgium, Finland, France, Norway and Turkey.
The project, coordinated by Ms Anna Rita Margio and Mr Paolo Mauriello, aims at improving the language competences and digital skills of the students and, at the same time, it aims at further developing their transversal skills, such as problem-based learning and cooperative learning; moreover, it helps young people acquire a better awareness of their European citizenship, thanks to the cooperation with the students of the other partner schools. The students involved in the project carried out research work and made sound files and Power Point presentations concerning the sounds theme and the “soundscapes” related to their personal life, to their school and to the town where their school is.
Together with Mr Paolo Mauriello and Mr Pasquale Palluotto, the students Antonella Cieri, Maria Ferraro, Immacolata Magnotta, Maria Pia Maiello e Stella Grazia Mazzuoccolo participated in the meeting scheduled for the month of February in Vaasa (Finland), where they met and discussed with other European teenagers, using the English language and having a direct experience of the habits and ways of living of another European nation, having the possibility of being hosted by the families of the Finnish students.
The project, which lasts for two years, involves other activities to be carried out next year (2016-2017).
